We believe complexity is real — not as a buzzword, but as the lived experience of individuals, teams, and organizations navigating competing demands, shifting contexts, and layered identities. Our work is about helping people make sense of that complexity and move through it with clarity, coherence, and care.

Our Approach

That work happens on three levels:

  • The individual — a complex system in their own right, shaped by culture, neurodiversity, experience, and identity.

  • The group — a dynamic entity navigating relationships, roles, and the friction of difference.

  • The organization — a formal structure embedded in industry, policy, and history, with its own logic and constraints.

Each level brings its own kind of diversity. Our role is to help make that diversity coherent — not by flattening it, but by mapping it. That’s why we use sociograms to complement organigrams: revealing influence, trust, and informal dynamics that shape how work actually happens.

Our work is shaped by two complementary perspectives:

  • Valérie Rozen brings strategic systems thinking to stakeholder engagement, platform governance, and organizational design. She helps teams navigate ambiguity with clarity, creativity, and relational intelligence.

  • Laurent Rozen brings depth in leadership development, learning design, and human systems facilitation. He supports individuals and teams in growing with integrity and purpose — not to chase trends, but to become more aligned with what already matters.

Together, we offer two interconnected streams:

  • SelFou Consulting supports organizations through stakeholder engagement, leadership development, and systems-aware strategy. We help teams move from confusion to clarity, from friction to flow.

  • SelFou.digital is our contribution back to the field — a growing ecosystem of tools, frameworks, and reflections built from what we’ve had to learn the hard way. It’s where we share what we know, what we’re still learning, and what we hope will help others lead with more clarity and care.
